Beginning September 12 and continuing weekly for 10 weeks I will lead you through the John C. Maxwell program; “Put Your DREAM to the Test”. In this Coaching Group we will walk through the 10 questions that Dr. Maxwell says are critical to assessing and achieving your dream.
Definition of a Dream: An inspiring picture of the future that energizes your mind, will and emotions; empowering you to do everything you can to achieve it. A genuine dream is a picture and blueprint of a person’s Purpose and Potential. In this group we will work together through the following 10 areas. These 10 areas are how we will each put our DREAM to the test:
- OWNERSHIP ~ Is your dream really YOUR dream or does it belong to someone else?
- CLARITY ~ A clear dream makes a general idea very specific through effort, affirmation and determination.
- REALITY ~ The more realistic your dream, the more you will be tempted to depend upon things you cannot control to make it become a reality. Match your habits to your dream. Look at what you naturally do well and make sure these habits fit your dream.
- PASSION ~ Passion pull us up enabling us to overcome diversity. Passion pulls us out giving us initiative. Passion positions us well, giving us the greatest odds for success.
- PATHWAY ~ Developing your pathway to your dream enables you to reach your potential.
- PEOPLE ~ Develop your team with people who inspire you and include people who are honest with you and whose skills compliment yours. Leaders birth dreams and then find people; followers find the leader and then find the dream.
- COST ~ Dreams are free but the journey is not. There is a price that must be paid sooner than expected. The price is almost always higher than planned. The price may also require payment more than once and it is possible to pay too much for your dream.

What is “Put Your DREAM to the Test”?
“Put Your DREAM to the Test” is a program created by John C Maxwell to help you be intentional in your life, both privately and professionally – by working with purpose and having a solid plan. Being intentional is about relying on a pre-determined strategy.
Couldn’t I just buy the book and work the program by myself?
Of course you can! What you would be missing is the power of the team. We will invite the Holy Spirit into every one of our meetings, we will support one another throughout and we will continue that support beyond the weeks of this program. The benefits of the group cannot be matched to working any entire program alone. Admittedly, I am a big proponent of groups. I have personally experienced the revelations followed by deep times with the Lord as He works through people in a group. Right now, I am in a weight loss coaching group. I LOVE our weekly calls! I ALWAYS come away with something new and I can see how the Lord is breaking down my barriers in this area of my life.
How will I benefit from being apart of this group?
The benefit of being in any group is really up to the individual. If you choose to participate fully in the group – working the program and contributing when the group meets, then you will benefit greatly. You will find clarity in your purpose and passion.
How does a “virtual” group work?
We will meet by phone once a week. The conference line is not toll free so, it is important that you have access to call in where you aren’t paying long distance charges. All calls will be recorded and provided to group members within 24 hours of each group meeting. You have the benefit of listening as often as you would like.

What are Debbie’s qualifications to be leading this group?

What about confidentiality amongst group members?
All members are expected to keep confidentiality of the group. This will be discussed in the first group meeting and reinforced in subsequent meetings.
Do I have to purchase anything for the group or does the $97.00 fee cover everything?
$27.00 covers it all! You will be provided an electronic workbook. The only other potential charge is long distance calling because the conference line is NOT toll free. If you plan to call on your cell phone you could also potentially have charges if you are not on a cell plan with unlimited minutes.
Is there any follow-up after the group is completed?
I would love to see this group continue meeting. Perhaps every other week or once a month. For those who decide to stay, we will call our Mastermind Group “The Dream Team”. There will be NO-CHARGE for this continuing group!
