Do you happen to know John Maxwell; author, teacher and speaker? If not, may I suggest that you do your research right away if you are a person desiring to be a great leader. If you know John, then you know that he is an incredible gift to all those he touches.

I was in Palm Beach, Florida the last 3 days attending The John Maxwell Team certification training. I joined this program a year ago when it was first announced. That makes me a “Founding Partner”. I felt extremely blessed with this opportunity. Over the year, I have been on many phone calls that John Maxwell has been on, but I’ve never met him in person. Hearing him speak over the phone does not do justice to the wonderful individual this man is. He cares for me and he cares for you! Really.

In 3 days, I have had my picture taken with him, spoke to him directly twice, had him sign a book of his that I purchased, I’ve watched him cry because of his passion, met his wife and grandchildren, met his entire team for this program, met and heard his 90 year old father speak and I’ve been certified as a team partner to teach 5 of his programs. To say that I am humbled and overjoyed would be putting lightly.

I have thanked God for John Maxwell, his authenticity and honor of our Lord, and the great gift of this entire experience.

Leadership has become a word used to easily and too loosely.  Leading, influencing others through love and appreciation, is not something that all people in “leadership” positions do.  People who work in a “leadership position” are not necessarily leaders.  People are not born a leader.  It takes learning and applying what you’ve learned.  Given this truth, wouldn’t you want to learn from someone who has been sharing leadership with people for 40+ years and written, to date, 72 books on leadership?

Everyone has a leadership role to fill.  Whether you are a mom who stays home to take care of your children or you are the CEO of your company.  It’s your character, your belief system, your desire to help others that contributes to your success as a leader.  It’s not at all about the position you hold.  Everything rises and falls on leadership in this world.  With this fact in mind, I want to invite you to participate in an upcoming Mastermind Tele-Group:

Put Your Dream to the Test and Bring it to Life!

What’s the difference between a dreamer and someone who achieves a dream?  The answer lies in 10 powerful, yet straightforward, questions.  Whether you’ve lost sight of an old dream or you are searching for a new one within you.  Put Your Dream to the Test and Bring it to Life provides a step-by-step action plan that you can start using immediately to see, own, and reach your dream.

Using John Maxwell’s 40 years of mentoring experience, you be expertly guided through questions required of every successful dreamer.  You will be given principles and tips so you can make good decisions and maximize every moment to achieve your dream.

This Mastermind Group combines teaching and peer support for success.  The option to continue, as a Mastermind “Dream Team”, beyond these initial sessions will be discussed and decided on by the team.

Announcements will be here on The Authentic Perspective Blog, Living Your Authentic Life eZine, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIN and directly to the people on my list.  Join, friend or follow me on any of these platforms.  Share with a friend who could benefit from this group.  Be sure to mention that seating is very limited to allow for the most efficient and successful environment.

  1. You could definitely see your enthusiasm in the work you write. The world hopes for more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to mention how they believe. At all times go after your heart.

Thank you so much Leon! I am passionate about several things – leadership is definitely at the top of the list. I find deep meaning in the word. I almost wish it could be changed to something different though. So many are “tired” of hearing about leadership. It’s definitely been misused over time. I hope to help bring integrity back to it!

  2. Very great post. I just stumbled upon your weblog and wanted to say that I’ve truly enjoyed surfing around your weblog posts. In any case I will be subscribing for your feed and I’m hoping you write again soon!

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. WordPress Seo Plugin
