Part 5 in the 5-part series on IMPACT
Time to decide. Decide “what” exactly? We all make many decisions every single day so, what decision is so important at this particular point in time?
The decision I am asking you to make is about your individual, God-given, area of impact (life purpose).
The decision is whether you will accept what God is calling you to?
Looking Back
Since January 17, we’ve been talking about topics that need your attention. Topics that build the foundation you need to walk the journey of your IMPACT with God. We’ve talked about CONNECTion:

- What connection with God looks like

We’ve talked about TRANSFORMation:

And, most recently, we’ve talked about the fact that you are created and designed for a specific IMPACT in this world:
- God has a plan for you

- The foundation of courage – servant leadership
- And now – time to decide
That’s a lot, but it’s just a taste of so much more!
As you decide if you will enter your specific IMPACT zone, you are also deciding if you will live a thriving life.
Hmmm.
Soil and Seed
You are just like seeds planted in the spring, the quality and care of the soil impacts the growth of the seed which impacts the flower, fruit or vegetable’s ability to thrive and produce a beautiful result.
You plant seeds every day in yourself and the people you encounter. Is your soil producing a beautiful thriving result within you and others?
There are lots of factors that impact the growth, and resulting harvest, of a plant. Likewise, there are many factors that impact your ability to thrive and thus, produce the results in yourself and others that you hope for.
We are a whole lot like a plant that we see slowly withering or beautifully blooming.
Important Facts About Nutrients
A thriving life cannot be obtained without solid nutrients. Healthy boundaries, spiritual depth, authentic community are 3 critical nutrients.
There is no shortage of information to help you build good, nutrient rich, soil within yourself. This is a good thing, but for many people, it’s also a bad thing.
Too many people, search and search for the golden, single, nutrient that will take away their pain or tell them exactly which path they should travel or which decision is the right one.
The result is a constant state of searching but never finding what they are searching for. Life always feels incomplete or just not right. Too many days, you find yourself feeling like a slow withering plant.
Be aware that all nutrients are not created equal. And, the fact that so many options exist, can be a recipe to keep you from the fulfillment you are so desperately searching for.
Live Your IMPACT Zone!
You know you were created for a purpose – an impact in this world. Are you going to step into it or not?
This decision does have urgency! No one, not another human being, can live in the specific impact zone you were created for. Wow! I think I have to say that again….

What’s more – until you start living in your impact zone, you will continue to search and seek rather than impact and thrive.
I don’t care how cool of a car you drive, how far up the chain of command you’ve risen, how big your house is, what a great education you have if you are not living for that which God made you, you are missing out.
Worse yet, those you are intended to impact are missing out!

What does One Life to THRIVE offer you? Connection, transformation, and impact. We do this through retreats for women who lead and community for women who lead.
