DSC_9367My Personal Journey

Like so many women, I once lived a life filled to the brim with stress. I constantly felt anxious, discontentment, and filled with frustration. Juggling my many roles left me questioning my life purpose and asking, is “it all” worth it?  My ability to grow suffered and so did my influence.

I spent far too many years wearing my masks as I attempted to be everything I thought I was supposed to be.

I believed in and submitted to my perfectionism and false need to try and control everything around me. Internally, feelings of failure would often consume me.

I am, and always will be, a woman who operates in multiple roles. The difference now is, I am no longer appearing to be a confident woman on the outside while fighting struggles on the inside.

Admitting my life had become unmanageable was one of the most difficult things I ever did.

For me, this only came after some poor life choices as I attempted to maintain my outward sense of order and the appearance of “having it all together.” I am thankful for embracing transparency, Christ-centered transformation, and the balance of being challenged, but not overdoing it.

By the grace of God, I discovered that the solution to managing a stress-filled life is to trust His plan, His way, in His timing.

This did not happen overnight!  In the process, I discovered true serenity.  I’m not talking about serene moments that happen once in while taking a vacation. Nor, is serenity the result of things going the way I think they should.

Rather, I discovered that serenity is about confident peace and contentment during the natural chaos of a full and vibrant life.  The life of a woman who accepts God’s call to influence where He has me and beyond.

Why I do what I do…..

I’ve been blessed with a very full and successful life – personally and professionally.  As you can gather, I’ve also made plenty of mistakes along the way.  I did not understand myself.  Stress got the best of me too many times in my journey.

As I was called into coaching, it became clear to me that all I had experienced and learned from those stress-filled years would not go to waste.

I help women called to lead, pastors wives, and women in long-term recovery live a thriving life as they overcome low self-esteem, discontent, loneliness, perfectionism, and more to influence and have the impact God created and designed them for.

I understand that you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders.

The process of coaching, and the deep introspection offered through my intimate retreats, delivers exactly what a godly woman appreciates and needs.

My greatest desire is to see every woman God has called to influence be confident in owning her influence, being her authentic self, and thriving as she lives out the impact God created and designed her for.
