Ignite to Thrive Women’s Retreats

Relax, Renew, and Rejoice

Ignite to Thrive retreats are purpose-filled for you to RELAX in the beauty of God’s creation, to RENEW in God’s word, to REJOICE in bonding with Him, yourself, and others.

Intimacy and thus, connection is created through a small group environment.

Retreat vs Conference – Intimacy through a quiet atmosphere and small by design ensures a retreat environment.
Conferences are wonderful but often, the excitement and stimulation lasts a short while.

Retreats, designed with a slower pace and small number of participants, provide greater opportunity for depth within ourselves, depth in new friendships, and depth in our walk with God.

Retreats include meals, lodging, workbook, and some optional activities.  Travel is not included.

🔥 SERENITY

A Life Without Serenity

We find ourselves wrestling with emotions and the constant need for “do-over’s.”  We look for our serenity in our bank account, our friends/spouse/boss or other people or things on this earth.  Your serenity can only be found in living the promises of God.  Nothing else is a sure deal.  Stop the inner turmoil you experience from things that are of this world:  worry, fear, anger, bitterness, resentments, approval from others, not feeling good enough, etc., etc.  For every one of these things, and anything else that binds you, there is a promise from God that is real, true and contains complete power to overcome.

A Life With Serenity

Living with serenity requires you to re-prioritize life from a heavenly perspective.  Not viewing things from your own interpretation of what should come first or what is most important, but rather trusting God that what He says is important really is.

Living with a heart of serenity is not a one-time event.  It is a practice, a way you live your life through constant conscious choices.  Luke 4:8 states:  “you must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.”  We choose multiple times a day whom we will serve – ourselves or Jesus.

You have to not only believe in Him; you must believe Him.  Your responsibility is to seek Him.  He will provide what you need.  Commit yourself to Him and experience true freedom from the junk that steals your serenity.  Stay willing to surrender allowing God to work in you.  He can and will do what you can’t.

This retreat takes a deep dive into the Serenity prayer and Galatians 5:22-23.

But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity.
We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart,
and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people.
We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life,
able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.

Galatians 5:22-23 (MSG)

🔥 One Thing Leads to Another

An ACTion Plan is essential.  In this retreat, as the Holy Spirit guides you, don’t leave what you hear and learn at the retreat.  Making life changes and taking steps of courage requires a plan. We will listen and seek to create action in three primary areas:

CONNECT – connecting with ourselves, God, and others all to steep our life in God-reality.

TRANSFORM – transforming our lives to God-initiatives. Transformation is needed when something is getting in the way of living true to your life purpose; the impact you were created and designed for.

IMPACT – Digging into the impact you were created for. Seeking God-provisions as we do our best to follow the path before. The problem with God-provisions, is…. us.  We want God to provide in the ways we believe we need.  And, we want Him to provide at the time we think we need them.

This retreat, soaked in many scriptures, uses Matthew 6:33 as it’s foundational scripture.

“Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out.
You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.”
Matthew 6:33 (MSG)

🔥 Authentic Influence

A deep dive into our authenticity and relative influence. How we influence outside of our authentic selves. Most of us believe we are authentic most of the time. This requires close examination. Using Romans 12:9-10 as the foundation we consider essential components of our lives – loving from the person God created us to be, holding with all we have to what is good, being good friends, and being a leader/influencer from behind.

This retreat, as with all the retreats, guides each participant to build an action plan.

Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil;
hold on for dear life to good.
Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle.

Romans 12:9-10 (MSG)
