Walk Into Beauty

Recently, I have been delving into the Book of Revelation. One of the captivating aspects it reveals is the indescribable beauty that awaits those who faithfully follow Christ.

Life, as we experience it, can be likened to a trail—a journey filled with a myriad of experiences—ups, downs, twists, and turns. At times, the path seems clear and purposeful, while at other times, we may struggle to comprehend why certain events unfold as they do. Yet, with Jesus, we are assured we are never alone, and the burdens often weighing us down are not ours to carry.

Matthew 11:28-30 in The Message (MSG) version says, “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

Stay On Your Path

Keep your amazing strength and perseverance going strong. Remember, it’s essential to stay true to your path, the one that God has specially designed for you.

Having wise advisors and supportive friends by your side is crucial. And most importantly, let’s stay rooted in God’s word, the Holy Bible, as it will be our ultimate life guide, helping us navigate with safety and stability on our journey.

Proverbs 4:25-26 in the New Living Translation (NLT) says, Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.”

Find Inspiration Around Every Turn

There are countless sources of inspiration surrounding us, but regrettably, our fast-paced lives often hinder us from pausing to appreciate them fully. Among these, the Bible stands as our paramount wellspring of inspiration. God, the ultimate source of creativity, filled it with profound wisdom that some spend their entire lives seeking.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 in the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) says, All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

Tread Lightly

It’s truly a remarkable blessing that we have the ability to find joy and ease our burdens. As we journey alongside Jesus, we can have complete faith that He is in control of our future.

The needless worry and self-doubt that tend to dominate our lives are far from helpful and can be set aside when we place our trust in Him.

Jeremiah 29:11 in the New International Version (NIV) says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Pack Life With Good Memories

Absolutely! Embrace the opportunity to create cherished memories, even during challenging moments. Share genuine moments with the person God has placed by your side, engaging in heartfelt conversations.

Take time to reflect on the goodness of the Lord and His remarkable deeds, both in the past and the ones yet to unfold. There’s so much to be grateful for and look forward to!

Psalm 111:1-2 in the Contemporary English Version (CEV) says, Shout praises to the Lord! With all my heart. I will thank the Lord when his people meet. The Lord has done many wonderful things! Everyone who is pleased with God’s marvelous deeds will keep them in mind.”

Everyday Has it’s Ups and Downs

Embracing the ups and downs is integral to a fulfilling life journey. Each day offers valuable lessons to learn and carry forward. Embrace those experiences and share them with others. Your unique testimony and story reveal God’s boundless love, grace, and mercy.

Don’t hesitate to share, for you never know whose life you may touch and to what extent your story may bring comfort and inspiration. Your openness could be a profound source of healing and encouragement to others.

1 Chronicles 16:8 in the Good News Translation (GNT) says, Give thanks to the Lord, proclaim his greatness; tell the nations what he has done.”

Watch Your Step

I have a love for hiking in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. The grandeur of the mountains and the breathtaking beauty, which is beyond human creation, captivates my heart. What I admire most is how these majestic peaks command respect; they demand our caution and mindfulness on the trails to prevent mishaps.

It’s also a crucial lesson for life – we must hold God’s word in the highest regard, respecting its wisdom and guidance in all that we do. Just as paying attention is non-negotiable on the mountain paths, so is attentively following the path set by God’s word in our journey through life.

Hebrews 2:1 in the God’s Word Translation (GW) says, We must pay closer attention to what we have heard. Then we won’t drift away from the truth.”
